CollegeDunia is a unique portal listing over 700 colleges with their complete details. This a quite useful for education enthusiasts and aspirants to get all the required information on a platter. Over Rs 1 crore has come in form of angel funding to this portal. The major contributors to this funding are Gaadi.com of MIH and some undisclosed investors as reported on an online news.
Sahil Chalana, the founder, started CollegeDunia just 6 months back, in May 2014, and soon it has stormed as a major impactful portal with over 1 lakh visitors per month. The portal provides all information about colleges, exams and all new things happening in education area. The funding is planned to be used for technology, operations and marketing purposes.
